iPhone 5: Case Review

I'll be writing a review on two iPhone 5 cases that I've used and one that I'm still using and loving it. First things first, the case that I'll be reviewing on is the Incase Slider and SGP Genuine Leather Grip. I hope this review will be able to help you make a decision on which case you'll like to get. I'll end this review with a case that I'd love to get, hopefully sometime when I get back from my holidays from my hometown.
First case is the Incase Slider. I have three words for this case: I HATE IT! I think the reviews on YouTube don't do justice to this case! Because of this case I've wasted quite a sum of money on my screen protector! Seriously, I was head over heels when I stick my protector on as there was no dust at all beneath it and no sign of bubbles. But guess what happened when I slide my phone into the case?! Bubbles start showing and I tried to take the phone out from the case but it was difficult, if not impossible! I never encounter any case at all, not with the 4 or 4s, that's hard to remove. So I was quite disappointed. I sort of screwed up the screen protector trying hard to remove the phone from the case. After removing the screen protector from the phone while it is still in the case, the phone slides out easily from the case, which only means one thing if you want to use this case, stay away from screen protector. The case is made of hard plastic and so whenever I slide my phone in the case I felt like it was scratching my phone. Again, if you are a person who likes to change your case on alternate days, this case is not for you. Over time, you would definitely scratch your phone, which defeats the purpose of having to use a case, or at least that's what I think. I have nothing nice to say about this case except for the fact that I like the colour? I got the silver metallic, which I really love and it matches my iPhone 4S's Rabito case. Is it worth the money? Well, for A$50 you can get much better case than this. Bare in mind, this case doesn't come with any accessories at all like screen protector and what not. It's just the case and the case alone. So, I would not recommend you spending A$50 for just a case and a case alone that doesn't do its job nicely.

Second case is SGP Genuine Leather Grip case. I love this case! SGP is known for giving extra accessories like screen protector kit and home button sticker, so what's there not to love? On top of that, it is much more cheaper than the Incase Slider. It's around A$39.95 but I got 10% discount and free delivery, so it's A$35.96. The only downside that I find is that the case is a little too small for the phone. I don't know if all of their leather grip cases have this problem but both of which I have had the same problem just different parts - one is above left-hand side and the other is bottom left-hand side. So that's the only thing that bothers me about this case. With this case on, the phone still feels light unlike the Incase slider, I find that the phone have a little more weight to it after putting on the case but not with the SGP. So I do highly recommend this case if you don't mind that minor problem which I have but I'm not so sure if you will have that same problem because if you don't then it is indeed a case worth having.

Okay! So here's the case that I want so badly and I've been eye-ing it for quite awhile now, actually since their iPhone 4/ 4S era. This is a must have case and I'll definitely, definitely be getting it as soon as I arrive back to Australia in mid-February. It cost around A$126 including shipping to Australia but try look around for discount code or follow them on twitter or facebook to have a look out on any promotions and what not. I can't say much about this case because I've not seen it in person or have used it but one thing I know for sure I love it! It's a fashion must-have!

Before I forget, if you want to get your hands on the SGP genuine leather grip case you can purchase it from PROgadgets and use the discount code "I-AM-JAMES-BOND" for 10% discount. If you're living in Australia, then it's free standard shipping and A$5.50 for express shipping. They don't only sell SGP but other brands such as Otterbox, Incipio, Jawbone, etc. I find them to be one of the cheapest retailer for cases and accessories in Australia. If you know anyone cheaper than them, do share the link in the comment box below. Thanks!
