Mario Badescu: Silver Powder

Are you someone with tons of blackheads on your nose and tried different pore strip and none works?!

Then Mario Badescu Silver Powder is definitely your answer. If you're living in Australia, you could head down to any Mecca store to purchase it or even purchase it from their online store.

This product is simply mind blowing! I started using this early last year and I couldn't believe the result I got from it just from the first use. I don't often use this product - it's sort of my on and off again product because it can really dries your skin and causes skin cracked (or maybe because I tend to put it on for more than 10 minutes, as a result, I do not suggest anyone to use put this product on for more than 10 minutes). Now I'm back on this product again and I just love seeing the result from it. It's amazing how this product can remove the blackheads from my nose. I've tried pore strip before and none of it ever had the same result as this powder. $22.95 may seem like a ridiculous amount for such a small tub at first to me or anyone but trust me, that small tub goes a long way making worth every penny. It's even cheaper than Biore pore strip in the long run.

Based on the instruction on the tub, you should dip water-dampened cotton ball into the powder and press on nose, chin or other clogged areas. Remove after 10 minutes with toner or astringent. Well, don't ever, ever dip water-dampened cotton ball into the powder in the tub. You'll spoil the whole powder after few use (not that I've tried it before, but that's what a lot of people have been complaining). What you should do instead is pour a small amount of the powder onto the lid and add a little bit of water to form a mixture (remember you can always add more powder into the mixture but cannot reduce the amount of powder after you've mixed it with water so add little by little, in order to not waste it). Use your index finger (or any fingers you feel comfortable with) to put the mixture on to your nose, chin or other clogged areas (for me, my forehead). Then only you follow the instructions as per stated on the tub that is remove it after 10 minutes with toner or astringent (do not put it on for more than 10 minutes, otherwise your skin will be really dry and you'll have cracked skin.

The toner that I use to remove it at the moment is the Mario Badescu Grapefruit Cleansing Lotion, which I'd not recommend using because you'll need a whole lot of amount to remove it. I find that it is easier to remove the mask using the Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Lotion and you don't need a whole lot of amount to remove it either. But since my current toner is the Grapefruit Cleansing Lotion, I just use it as my silver powder mask removal too. I don't see the point of having two different toners. It is not necessary for you to use a Mario Badescu toner, you can just use any brand of toner, so just use whatever toner that you're currently using. Ohh and just so you know water won't be able to remove this mask.

My rating for this product is definitely 5/5. You can definitely see the differences just from the first use. So I'd totally recommend this product to anyone! You can't go wrong with this product. And you'll definitely love it as much as I do. Just don't over use it as it can really make your skin dry and flaky.
