Album Review #1: Lemonade

Beyonce has always had her own ways to make an announcement. Remember back in 2011 at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) where she performed Love On Tops and at the end of her performance, she drop her mic to open the button to her sequin blazer and rub her belly? Yeap, that was her way of announcing to the world that she was pregnant with her first child, Blue Ivy Carter. Then on 13th December 2013, she released her first visual album entitled Beyonce without doing any prior announcement or promotions. 

Lemonade is no different. It was her way to admit what the media had speculated over the years (Jay Z cheated on her) was true.

In my opinion, Lemonade is her best album yet. The entire visual album from the start to finish was able to capture all the emotions she went through, and I believe anyone in her given position (being cheated on) would be able to relate to all the lyrics and poems that were used in this visual album. Furthermore, this album just goes to show that she is only human and like everyone out there, she has personal issues, family issues, and so forth. Her life is not entirely perfect like what the media sells it to be. It is one of those deep and personal album that I can't see anyone hating on it ❤. #Slayonce #thebestinthebusiness 

I'm saving all my pennies in hopes that I get to attend one of her Formation Tour when she tours Australia, that being said, I don't only need to save a ticket to her show but also a two-way flight ticket from Sarawak! 

If she does happen to have a show in a city near you, you should definitely attend it. She definitely is the Best Entertainer to date. I was so lucky to attend her Mrs. Carter World Tour in Melbourne, and boy, I'll never forget that night ❤! #thebestnightofmylife
