Fashion Post #1: Dungarees

Just to set the record straight, this is my first attempt in writing a fashion post for my blog. 

Since I was young, I've always love dungarees or also known as overalls. I've always love how it looks on people but I've never dare to wear it as with many other fashion pieces that I like. I've always felt like I look awkward in almost everything except for t-shirt and jeans. This year I'm on the road to changing that about me. I want to wear the things that I love and still feel as comfortable as wearing t-shirt and jeans. You might think I'm being silly because dungarees is similar to wearing a t-shirt and jeans...however I've tried on dungarees before from Esprit and I look ugly in it. I felt like it made my thighs look bigger than it already was and my fats around my stomach sticking out from the corner of the dungarees. 

What made me want dungarees badly?

I think the pictures above explain it all especially the one on the left (Evil Twin's Simple Life BF Overalls $119.95); the right is Stussy Anderson Overall Pant $129.95. When I saw it in the General Pants Co's weekly email newsletter, I told myself I need to have it and I'm glad my godfather agrees with me. Because I've spent too much this month purchasing Black Milk Clothing and my facial products, I'd only be able to purchase it end of this month or early next month. I'm super excited to get my hands on it! 

I shall end this post with a Polyvore creation of mine where I envisioned myself styling it. For the record instead of the pink Vintage Chanel bag, imagine it in black (Polyvore didn't have the black so I had to make do with the pink instead).

P/s: No I do not own a Rolex nor do I have the Hermes Collier de Chien or the Giving Key necklace but a girl can wish doesn't she? =D
