Review: CPA's Boardroom Tycoon App for iOS

I'm totally hooked on this game!

What's interesting about this game?
For me is the ability that it gives you to build your own empire. You can pick either a resource license (coal/ bauxite mine), travel license, finance license (investment/ tax consultancy), or media license (newspaper/ radio studio). From there on, you start employing people, do takeover of other companies (most interesting part of all) and make deals. Your incomes are from your business, deals and takeover. Majority of it however, will come from the takeover. As a result, it is really important to takeover the right company as it will affect your share price too.

As you move on to each stage, or pass a certain task, Alex Malley, CEO of CPA will appear in a short video to give you advice. There are 27 short videos by him; Introduction, First Takeover Win, First Time Network, Positive News, Tasks, First Asset Purchase, Skills, Assisted Takeovers, Hire CEO, Staff Hire, Leadership, Governance, Sustainability, Innovation, First Deal Tree, Share Buyback, Failure of a Task, Orange Takeover, Hammertime, Negative News Headline, Losing Money, Low Manhours, Reach Level 20, Reach Level 40, Keep Losing Takeovers, Keep Being Taken Over, and Firing Staff. Besides unlocking video, you'll also be unlocking newspaper headlines.

The only thing that I hate about this game is the that it hangs almost every time, or round of takeover or deals or purchases. Hopefully, they'd get that fix soon otherwise I'd definitely stop playing it because I just can't stand when something hangs or just shut down on its own.

I highly recommend this game to anyone and everyone. I think it's one of the most interesting game on iOS and Android. Moreover it is 100% free - there is no charges for the application, nor is there any in-app purchase. I really do hope that CPA keeps it that way and doesn't turn it into one of those money-making application, such as Poker, Clash of Clans, etc, where they asked you to make in-app purchases for chips, boost or so forth because that would definitely be another bummer.

This is my result of playing it for one whole day non-stop. It sure is a pretty scary thing - what this app does to me. The moment I woke up I started playing it till 11PM at night, without realizing that it was 11PM already! I had a quick meal in between and continued playing it. I had to charge my phone THREE times in a single day because of this game. That's exactly how hooked am I to this game.

So if you haven't already tried it before, download it now. It is one hell of an interesting game!

Oh! And if you have an iPad, it is best to play it on an iPad because it is much larger and you'll strain your eyes less.
