Updated Skincare Routine

I'm doing this mainly because I feel that my skin is in a better place after the skin breakout episode from using Kate Somerville's facial product. At the end of that post, I did share with you on the facial products that I was using at that time. However, just days after that post I had to change the facial products that I was using because my jawline and cheeks were still irritating to the point that I'm constantly scratching my face.

Mario Badescu seems to be the only skincare brand that is suitable for my face and it is officially my holy grail skincare brand. I swear by it and I wouldn't ever switch to another brand ever again. My only concern now is what am I going to use when I move back to Kuching because Mario Badescu doesn't have any stockist in Malaysia let alone Kuching.

My skincare routine:
Morning
Face wash: MB Acne Facial Cleanser $22.95 | Clarisonic Mia 2 $175.00
Toner: MB Aloe Vera Toner $22.95
Serum: MB Vitamin C Serum $64.95

Moisturizer: Cetaphil DermaControl Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 $16.99

Night
Face wash: MB Acne Facial Cleanser $22.95 | Clarisonic Mia 2 $175.00
Toner: MB Aloe Vera Toner $22.95

Serum: MB Vitamin C Serum $64.95
Moisturizer: MB Collagen Moisturizer SPF 15 $34.95
Serum: MB Anti-Acne Serum $31.95
Mask: MB Enzyme Revitalising Mask $31.95

One product that I would not live without ever again:
Clarisonic Mia 2 - I think everyone should have their own Clarisonic brush. My skin is so much better after I started re-using it and I'll never not use it again. $175 may seem like a lot for just a brush but honestly it is worth every penny that you pay for. Note: if you do read my product review on Clarisonic Mia 2, then you would know that this brush comes with a fixed timer, 20 seconds forehead area, 20 seconds nose and chin area, 10 seconds on each cheek area, however for me I usually use 20 seconds forehead area, 20 seconds nose and chin area, 20 seconds or more on each cheek area.

Another product that I'm currently in love with:
MB Vitamin C Serum - This is one of the most expensive MB product I've ever purchased but I don't regret purchasing at all. Call me crazy, but I feel like finally my acne scars are slowly (very slowly) fading. I do highly recommend this product to anyone who's suffering from skin discolouration or hyperpigmentation. Note: the packaging states apply 3 - 4 drops but I apply about 8 - 9 drops for my whole face, mainly focusing on my cheeks.

That's all for now.

Here's a sneak on what you could expect on my next post:

And I should end this post with hair of the day:

Just for the record, I did use a foundation, blush and powder in that picture, thus the rather clear looking skin.
Foundation: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua 20 Beige RM167
Blush: Chanel Powder Blush 72 Rose Initial RM140
Powder: Chanel Natural Finish Lose Powder 20 Claire RM152

This may sound odd but this is my first time putting on make up and I can't thank mummy enough for that. More about it soon.
