WON: Links of London Wimbledon
Jumping with excitement! I won myself a Links of London's Wimbledon Sterling Silver Sweetie Charm Bracelet! I didn't expect to win it and to be honest I've totally forgotten that I participated in their Instagram Wimbledon contest too. I probably did it while I was half awake. I kept telling myself that I need to tell my sister about the contest but it totally slip my mind until I received an email stating that I won it!
I love waking up to good news. The moment I read it, I shake my sister in an attempt to wake her up but she made that I'm-going-to-kill-you groan so I just jump out of bed and get ready for my morning jog with my friend. I thought to tell my friend about it when I see her but I just can't content my excitement that I screenshot and send it to her. She told me that I'm very lucky because I've won a number of contests but to be honest, it has been a long while since I won one. To be honest, I do feel lucky too because I've never won anything expensive like this. This is my first time winning something that cost £180, which is roughly RM1,067.
I've always wanted a Links of London's Sweetie bracelet. It is my favorite charm bracelet. While most people go for Tiffany & Co. or Pandora or Thomas Sabo, I want Links of London. I love it ever since I was just eleven years old when my sister showed it to me. It is unique compared to most charm bracelets in the market today. My all time favorite is the 2010 Wimbledon Sweetie bracelet that has an attached strawberry charm with it (picture on the left). Despite not winning the 2010 edition, I'm still over the moon that I won the 2015 Wimbledon Sweetie bracelet. Truly grateful and thankful to be selected.
The bracelet that I won is the 2015 Wimbledon Sweetie bracelet (picture on the right). It is not as
pretty as the one with the attached strawberry but the Wimbledon purple and green enamel rings makes the Sweetie bracelet looks pretty unique. I can't wait to receive it. I'm filled with excitement. I hope that this bracelet will be an exception to my allergy towards things that are made of silver. I'd be damned if I can't wear it because of this weird ass allergy that I have. *fingers cross* However, if I'm allergy to it, I'd probably just wear it on special occasion then. Definitely not something I'd give away because I'm allergic to it.
The one with the bee hive is because it is called Bee Happy Charm so I would love nothing more than to be happy everyday.
The four leaves clover is called Lucky in Love Charm, and obviously based from my previous relationship I need as much luck as I could get for my love life.
The reason I want the mortarboard or graduation owl is because it signifies that I've graduated with a Bachelor's Degree.
The Traveling Memories Globe Locket Charm signifies my job, which requires me to travel as often as possible and my love for traveling.
The reason I want the strawberry is because I just want it.
I'm still super psyched about the fact that I won myself a Wimbledon Sweetie Bracelet that cost £180! Thank you so much Links of London and thank you God for fulfilling this little girl's one of many dreams. I need a pinch because it still seems as surreal as the morning I woke up to the email.

I have yet to receive the bracelet but the following are charms that I really like and want to have on my bracelet! I probably wouldn't get all of it but the few that I really, really desperately want on my bracelet would be the sheep, the mortarboard or graduation owl (I love the mortarboard but I feel that the owl is more personal because it has the graduation year engraved on the heart that it holds), and of course the strawberry!
The reason for wanting the sheep is because I'm born in the year of a sheep (Chinese Zodiac). The one with the bee hive is because it is called Bee Happy Charm so I would love nothing more than to be happy everyday.
